Eleanor
is going to be the Dutch Pioneer showcar for the next
year. You can watch her on several shows in Holland
and Belgium. (Check the Agenda
for dates). As we speak Pioneer is building an awesome
audio installation which will be ready in July 2007.
Inside the interior you won't see much of the audio,
as we are trying to keep things original. There's a
very flat head-unit (AXM-P90R) hidden in the centre-panel
of the dashboard. Every speaker and subwoofer is build
inside a seperate airtight custombuild box to ensure
high-fidelity sound.
This is my design for the
trunk. I made this in 3D so we can get an easy shot
from every angle and easy adjust the position of the
audio and battery items. We need a second Optima battery
to feed the all the audio-items. The digital amplifiers
at the bottom of the trunk are farely light and small.
(Don't want to put too much extra weight on Eleanor).

Left-battery and left PowerGap device.
View at both digital Amplifiers. The chrome pipe is for
fuel and leads to the fuelcell.
View at the both subwoofers which can't be seen from inside
the trunk. They are placed in the escape-shutter just
behind the rear-seat.
The subwoofers are also placed in an airtight box.
